CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A new columbarium is being installed at Grandview Cemetery to provide a dedicated final resting place for veterans. The project, overseen by the Ross County Veterans Service Commission, will offer nearly 200 niches for cremation burials.
Commission members were on-site as construction crews worked to place the structure, which will serve as an additional burial option for veterans and their families.
The columbarium is part of ongoing efforts to honor and accommodate veterans in the county.
