SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — A Scioto County local man has been charged with attempted murder after two stabbing victims were admitted to Southern Ohio Medical Center early Wednesday morning. Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman reported that the 911 Communication Center received an alert at approximately 3:14 am from the hospital regarding the injured parties.
One of the victims was critically injured and had to be airlifted to a different hospital, while the other was treated for their injuries and subsequently released. Following the hospital alert, deputies and detectives initiated an investigation, which led them to 1032 Shephard Fork Road, the scene of the crime.
Authorities executed a search warrant at the residence, where they detained and later arrested 51-year-old Kevin E. Pack. He faces charges of first-degree attempted murder and two counts of second-degree felonious assault. Pack is currently held on a $125,000 bond at the Scioto County Jail and is scheduled for a court appearance on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
