CINCINNATI, Ohio — As the Cincinnati Reds gear up for Opening Day on Thursday, marking the start of the 2025 season, fans eager to catch every pitch from home have a variety of viewing options to choose from. Following a series of offseason announcements, the team has outlined how supporters can watch games on TV, through streaming services, or via a new direct-to-consumer subscription.
The question of how to watch Reds games has been top of mind for fans throughout the offseason, and these options aim to provide something for everyone.
In November, Major League Baseball revealed it would take over production and distribution of Reds games for the 2025 season. This was followed by a January announcement from the Reds confirming that games would continue to air on the FanDuel Sports Network — formerly known as Bally Sports. Then in February, the team introduced a new direct-to-consumer streaming service, giving fans more flexibility.
For those preferring traditional television, Reds games will be available through several TV providers, including Altafiber, DIRECTV, DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Spectrum, and U-verse TV. Fans can also stream games at no additional cost using their TV provider credentials through the FanDuel Sports Network app.
For cord-cutters, the Reds have rolled out a subscription-based streaming option with three pricing tiers. A monthly plan costs $19.99 and includes spring training, regular-season Reds games, and coverage of the Columbus Blue Jackets and Cleveland Cavaliers on FanDuel Sports Network Ohio. A season pass, covering the same content, is priced at $105.99 if purchased on or after March 20, or $122.99 if started on Feb. 21. An annual pass, offering 12 months of access, is available for $189. Additionally, fans can add Reds games to their Prime Video subscription as an add-on.
