WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — The City of Washington Court House Economic Strategies and Cooperation committee met Wednesday to discuss ongoing projects, including a significant development by Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores in Fayette County.

Love’s Travel Stops, a family-owned company founded in 1964 by Tom and Judy Love, is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The company has grown into the nation’s leading travel stop network, operating more than 600 locations across 42 states. Love’s caters to professional truck drivers, RVers, and everyday motorists, offering 24-hour access to fuel, convenience stores, restaurants, and truck care services. With over 38,000 employees, Love’s also manages more than 430 truck service centers under its Love’s Truck Care and Speedco brands, providing maintenance and roadside assistance nationwide.

The company is purchasing a tract of land owned by Brad Crosby along State Route 753 at U.S. 35. The facility will feature RV parking with utility access, a convenience store, and a restaurant, with groundbreaking scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. This development marks Love’s continued expansion in Ohio, where it already operates over 20 locations, including a nearby site in Jeffersonville at I-71 Exit 65.
