CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A grand jury has indicted two women on charges related to the illegal conveyance of suspected drugs into the Ross Correctional Institution, according to the Ross County Prosecutor’s Office.
Reports state that Latricia D. Hill, of Lewis Center, was allegedly seen attempting to pass drugs during a visitation with an inmate in October. A search reportedly uncovered more than 10 grams of buprenorphine and nearly half a gram of synthetic marijuana. Hill was charged with a third‑degree felony for illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse into the grounds of a detention facility.

In a separate case, Victoria A. Garner, of Columbus, was also indicted on charges of illegal conveyance. Prosecutors said Garner was allegedly found trying to pass nearly five grams of tramadol and fentanyl, along with nearly seven grams of THC and other hemp products, during a visit on the same day as Hill.
Garner faces a third‑degree felony charge, which carries a potential penalty of up to 36 months in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Both women are scheduled for arraignment on December 22, 2025. They remain free on bond.
