CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau has released the 2026 Official Ross County Visitors Guide, offering an updated look at attractions, events, and travel opportunities throughout the region.
The guide highlights Chillicothe and Ross County’s historic sites, downtown amenities, outdoor recreation, dining, lodging, and annual events. CVB officials describe it as a key marketing tool used to attract leisure travelers, group tours, and travel planners by presenting the area’s authentic experiences.
Beginning this year, the Visitors Guide will shift from a biennial to an annual publication. CVB staff say the change will allow the guide to reflect current attractions and activities more accurately and provide visitors with up‑to‑date information when planning trips.
Melody Young, executive director of the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau, said the guide is one of the organization’s most important promotional resources and credited Great Lakes Studios with producing the 2026 edition.
The guide is distributed at travel and trade shows, Ohio and regional information centers, and through visitor information requests. Local copies are available at the Visitors Bureau, area attractions, lodging facilities, and partner locations throughout Ross County.
A digital version of the 2026 Visitors Guide is available at VisitChillicotheOhio.com. Printed copies can be picked up at the Visitors Bureau office at 230 N. Plaza Blvd.
