CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Downtown Chillicothe businesses are preparing to welcome shoppers and chocolate lovers for the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce’s first event of 2026: the annual Chocolate Walk.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will feature participating downtown businesses offering bite-sized chocolate treats to attendees as they stroll through the district.
Participants can take part by purchasing a $20 chocolate passport, which allows holders to sample chocolates at each participating location. Those who complete their passport will be entered into a drawing for a Shop Local prize basket.
“The Chocolate Walk demonstrates the power of our community when we work together. It’s not just about candy—it’s about connections, commerce, and why Chillicothe is the best place for people to grow and thrive. We invite everyone to come out, support our downtown businesses, and enjoy a delicious day with friends and neighbors,” said Chamber CEO Mike Throne.
Passports are limited to 200 and require pre-registration. They are available for purchase at the Chamber office or online through the Chamber’s events page.
Passport pickup will be available at the Chamber office, 45 E. Main St., from Feb. 3–5 between 9 a.m. and noon and 1–4 p.m. Additional pickup will be offered the day of the event from 10–11 a.m. at Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop downtown.
