CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross–Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau is accepting nominations for the 2026 Pineapple Awards, which recognize outstanding contributions to the region’s tourism and hospitality industry.

Nominations are due by 3 p.m. on March 16 and will be evaluated by an impartial panel based solely on the stories submitted, according to the bureau.

The awards include categories for behind‑the‑scenes staff such as groundskeepers, maintenance workers, and housekeepers; front‑line employees including clerks, servers, and cashiers; volunteers; and managers such as general managers, executive directors, and sales leaders. Nomination forms should highlight specific examples from the past year showing how nominees went above and beyond to enhance visitor experiences.

Forms can be downloaded at VisitChillicotheOhio.com and submitted by mail, in person at 230 N. Plaza Blvd., or by email to [email protected].

All nominees will be recognized during the 2026 Pineapple Awards Ceremony on May 4, part of the bureau’s annual Tourism Banquet. Winners will be announced at the event.

The Pineapple Awards are billed as a celebration of hospitality excellence, honoring individuals whose dedication and service make a meaningful impact on visitors and the community.
