PORTSMOUTH, Ohio – The Scioto County Grand Jury returned five public indictments during its January term, Prosecutor Shane A. Tieman announced Wednesday.

The defendants and charges are as follows:

  • Nathan Powers, 42, of Lucasville, was indicted on three counts of felonious assault and one count of possession of a deadly weapon while under detention.
  • Rodney Blankenship, 43, of West Portsmouth, was indicted on aggravated possession of drugs.
  • Mary Reed, 44, of Portsmouth, faces charges of possession of a fentanyl-related compound and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Conway Kilcoyne, 48, of Portsmouth, was indicted on aggravated possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Geoffrey Graf, 41, of Lucasville, was indicted on charges of tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.

Tieman’s office did not release further details about the cases.
