CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Ohio University Chillicothe will host its annual Alumni and Friends Art Show beginning with an opening reception at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Patricia Scott Memorial Art Gallery.
The exhibition will feature artwork created by alumni and friends of the campus and will run through Thursday, April 9. The gallery is located on the first floor of Bennett Hall and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Alumni and friends, along with students, faculty and staff, may submit artwork for consideration. Submissions may be dropped off at the Dean’s Suite in Bennett Hall on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., after Feb. 2 and before Feb. 26.
“Art is a vital form of communication and expression and we are excited to showcase the talents and creativity of the Ohio University Chillicothe community,” said Mike Lafreniere, interim dean of campus and community relations.
The annual exhibition is intended to highlight a range of artistic perspectives and encourage engagement between artists and the broader community, organizers said.
