BRENTWOOD, Tennessee — Tractor Supply Company announced a series of animal-focused events set to launch this month nationwide, including the return of its annual Chick Days promotion and the debut of a new event called Animal Days.

The rural lifestyle retailer said the promotions will include in-store activities, product discounts, and community events at stores nationwide.

“Pets and animals are a big part of Life Out Here, and we are eager to celebrate the role they play, whether on the farm or ranch, or in our homes,” Nicole Logan, senior vice president and general merchandise manager at Tractor Supply, said in a statement. “Through Animal Days and Chick Days, Tractor Supply provides pet and animal owners with access to all the products and resources they need, along with valuable discounts, special savings and exciting giveaways.”

Chick Days, an annual spring promotion, features the sale of live chicks, ducks, and other poultry breeds in stores through Sept. 13. The company said poultry can be purchased online year-round. The promotion also includes product offerings and discounts from various feed and animal care brands.

The company said it recently invited social media followers to name its Chick Days mascot. After narrowing thousands of submissions to 10 finalists, the public selected the name “Coop.”

In addition to Chick Days, Tractor Supply is introducing Animal Days, a nine-day sales event running from Feb. 21 through March 1. The company said customers can find discounts on pet and animal supplies, including feed, treats, toys, and health products.

As part of the promotion, stores nationwide will host a “Farm Bash” event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time on Saturday, Feb. 21. Customers are invited to bring leashed pets to participate in activities that may include treat tastings, promotional giveaways, and adoption events at select locations. Approximately 500 stores will partner with Petfinder to host dog adoption events, the company said.

PepsiCo Inc. is supporting the Farm Bash events with donations to local animal shelters, according to Tractor Supply.

Tractor Supply Company, headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, operates more than 2,000 stores across the United States and markets itself as the nation’s largest rural lifestyle retailer.

Residents should check with their local stores for specific event details.
