At 3:54 p.m., Deputy Nott responded to an active burglary at a property on State Route 327 in Laurelville. Upon arrival, the deputy found the suspect at the scene and determined that the individual had broken into a trailer and sheds on the property. The property owner declined to press charges initially, but later decided to pursue them. The suspect was handcuffed and transported to the Ross County Jail. During a search, Deputy Woodbridge discovered a small bag containing white powder in the suspect’s pocket. The suspect’s vehicle was towed to the Sheriff’s Office impound lot.
