PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — A Scioto County grand jury returned 14 public indictments during its January term, Scioto County Prosecutor Shane A. Tieman announced Wednesday, with charges ranging from drug trafficking to burglary and felonious assault.
Among those facing the most serious charges was Shane McGlone, 46, of Portsmouth, who was indicted on felonious assault, aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs, trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, having weapons while under disability on two counts, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and resisting arrest. Richard Pennington, 47, of Sciotoville, also faced multiple drug charges including illegal conveyance or drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility.
Justin Everman, 40, of Portsmouth, was indicted on nine counts including aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs, trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, possession of drugs, aggravated possession of drugs on two counts, possessing criminal tools and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Sarah Turvey, 35, of Portsmouth, was indicted on theft of drugs on nine counts, aggravated possession of drugs on nine counts and possession of drugs.
Other defendants indicted included Heather Oiler, 39, and Joshua Mullins, 30, both of Portsmouth, each charged with burglary; Jolena Roe, 41, of Portsmouth, charged with theft from a person in a protected class on two counts, forgery on two counts and passing bad checks; and Jeffrey Logan, 36, of Portsmouth, charged with trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, possession of a fentanyl-related compound on two counts and possessing criminal tools.
Additional defendants included Mary Howard, 59, and Amanda Adkins, 43, both charged with possession of cocaine; Jonathan Pyles, 44, of Wheelersburg, and Steven Campbell, 30, of South Portsmouth, each charged with aggravated possession of drugs; Jesse James McCown, 45, of Portsmouth, charged with possession of a fentanyl-related compound; and Aaron Hill, 47, of Huntington, West Virginia, charged with aggravated possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The grand jury met Feb. 20, 2026.
