JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — Floodwaters have receded, and at least one local roadway has reopened in Jackson County, the sheriff’s office announced Monday afternoon.
Von Glen Nell Road and Glen Nell Road were cleared and reopened as of 11:14 a.m. Monday, after flooding had closed the corridor. The sheriff’s office said the roadway is no longer flooded.
Residents should remain cautious on area roads as flood conditions can change quickly. The Guardian will continue monitoring road closures and reopenings as conditions develop.
