WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — Fayette County commissioners are scheduled to consider an amended engineering agreement Monday aimed at addressing water pressure problems in the Lakewood Water System, along with two petitions to annex more than 60 acres into the county.
The board’s Aug. 17 agenda includes authorizing an amended agreement with HDR Engineering Inc. for further evaluation of the pressure issues within the Lakewood Water System, according to the meeting agenda released by the county Aug. 14. The agenda does not specify the scope or cost of the additional engineering work.
Commissioners are also set to consider two expedited Type 2 annexation petitions: one from Martin Land Co. for 39.493 acres and another from Gretchen E. Krieger for 21.281 acres, the agenda said. It does not specify the location of either property or its intended use.
The petitions follow the county’s annexation of 490 acres into the Village of Jeffersonville earlier this month.
The board’s agenda also lists routine business, including approval of minutes, payment of bills and appropriation modifications.
