CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A crash involving an overturned load shut down the eastbound ramp connecting state Route 104 to U.S. 35 for roughly a half hour Thursday afternoon, according to initial emergency radio traffic.
Crews were dispatched to a crash in the area eastbound shortly after 3:30 p.m., radio traffic indicated. Units on scene later reported that a vehicle’s load had overturned on the ramp, blocking the roadway as crews worked to clear it.
By roughly 4:10 p.m., radio traffic indicated the ramp remained down while cleanup continued, with responders advising it would likely stay closed for about another half hour.
No injuries were mentioned in the radio traffic monitored by the Guardian, and the cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
