PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — State Route 104 is closed in both directions between State Route 762 and State Route 316 while crews replace a culvert, the Pickaway County Emergency Management Agency said in a Facebook post Monday.
The work is expected to take about two weeks, the agency said.
The closed stretch runs through Scioto Township, linking the SR 104/SR 316 junction near South Bloomfield and Darbyville with the SR 104/SR 762 junction near Commercial Point. SR 104 is one of the county’s main north-south routes, connecting the Circleville area to Franklin County and Grove City to the north, and it carries a steady flow of commuter traffic toward Columbus.
The Pickaway County EMA did not post a specific detour route and directed residents to the Ohio Department of Transportation’s website for updates on the closure and the culvert project.
