ASHVILLE, Ohio — Park Street will close to traffic starting Tuesday as crews begin work on the village’s new water treatment plant, according to the Village of Ashville.
The contractor overseeing construction will start moving equipment onto the site Aug. 11, the village said in a social media post. Beginning that day, Park Street will be closed from the north side of the alley to East Station Street for the duration of the project.
The alley connecting to Gary Street will remain open, but there will be no through traffic north of the alley, according to the village.
Village officials asked residents and motorists to plan an alternate route and use caution around the construction area as the project gets underway.
