CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Health District will hold its second annual Family Health Fair on Aug. 22 at Mount Logan Learning Center, offering families free activities and access to community health resources.
The fair runs from 1 to 4 p.m. at the learning center, 841 E. Main St., according to the health district. Organizers noted the venue is an updated location from earlier plans for the event.
Free activities will include caricature artists, balloon sculptures, face painting, giveaways, hot dogs and beverages, the health district said. Outdoor offerings will include a bounce slide, a medical mobile unit and a touch-a-truck experience, with all activities free of charge.
The fair is the latest in a string of outreach events the health district has organized this summer, including a tire drive and flu shot clinic planned for Oct. 10 at the county fairgrounds.
The health district is also inviting government entities and nonprofit organizations to participate as vendors at the health fair. Interested groups can respond to the health district’s email or contact [email protected] to reserve a spot, according to the release.
