ASHVILLE, Ohio — Drivers in Ashville should expect lane restrictions starting Tuesday as road work gets underway on Long Street near the Walnut Mill entrance, the Village of Ashville said.
The work is scheduled to begin Aug. 25 at the intersection with Cider Mill Drive, the entrance to the Walnut Mill development, according to a post from the village. Flaggers will be stationed in the work zone to direct traffic while crews are on site.
Long Street carries State Route 316 through the center of the village. The lane restrictions could also affect drivers using nearby Ashville Pike, as well as residents entering or exiting the Walnut Mills and Lakes at Ashton Village neighborhoods, the village said.
Village officials asked motorists to allow extra travel time, use caution in the work zone and watch for flaggers while the project is underway.
