HUNTINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Fire crews responded to a home in the 8000 block of Denver Road early Thursday after a resident reported flames coming from underneath the house, according to initial emergency radio traffic.
Dispatchers received the call shortly after 12:51 a.m., radio traffic indicated. The homeowner told dispatchers they had woken up to two loud noises before looking outside and seeing fire underneath the residence.
Radio traffic indicated the resident and others inside the home got out safely, with a transmission confirming everyone had vacated the property before crews arrived.
Within minutes, fire officials could be heard requesting mutual aid from additional departments, and radio traffic referenced multiple engine companies responding to the scene, according to the traffic monitored by the Guardian.
No injuries were reported over the radio as of early Thursday, and the cause of the fire had not been determined, according to the traffic.
