CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Twin Township Fire Department is preparing to host a car, truck and motorcycle show fundraiser next month, with registration open to vehicles of any make, model or year.
The show is set for Saturday, Oct. 3, at Cornerstone Church, 18654 U.S. 50, according to the department. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the show runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vehicle entry costs $15, and admission for spectators is free.
In a Facebook post, the department said it is “extremely grateful” for the donations and sponsorship support it has received ahead of the event. Dash plaques for entrants have arrived, trophies are being made, and event T-shirts will be ordered soon, the department said. Organizers said the show is shaping up to include numerous door prizes for attendees.
Twin Township Fire Department is an all-volunteer department headquartered on U.S. 50 in Bourneville and led by Fire Chief Shaun Allen. The department, which serves Twin Township in Ross County, contracts with neighboring agencies to provide EMS coverage for residents, according to the township.
