
Jerry Lee “Hopp” Stonerock, 57, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Born March 31, 1969, in Portsmouth, Jerry was the son of Jerry Stonerock and Phyllis (Hatfield) Brown. He spent much of his working life in manufacturing and was formerly employed at The Pallet Shop.
Jerry was a hardworking man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, and he was a proud Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Above all, Jerry cherished his family and the time he spent with those he loved. He will be remembered for his easygoing spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the special place he held in the hearts of his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his parents, Jerry Stonerock and Phyllis Brown; his son, Jerry (Tania Sizemore) Stonerock III of Lucasville; his daughter, Jessica (Tyler Walton) Stonerock of Wellston; his brothers, Barry Stonerock of Wheelersburg and Jack (Sue) Stonerock of Wheelersburg; and his four beloved grandchildren, Ellie, Valerie, Dallon, and Charleigh.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Angie Stonerock.
In addition to his parents, children, grandchildren, and brothers, Jerry leaves behind many family members and friends who will deeply miss him and the memories they shared with him.
