Steven K. Gozy, 43, of Chillicothe passed 2:48 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2026 at the Adena Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.
He was born June 13, 1983 in Ross County to Ronnie Gozy and Lori Peters.
Surviving are his girlfriend, Kim Holman; children, Hunter (Jordyn Sprouse) Gozy, Kolton Graves and Avery Gozy, step-children, Levi Ginter, McKenzie Ginter, Brynlee Holman and Morgan Holman; grandson, Beckham Gozy; brother, Adam Peters, of Chillicothe; sister, Kyna Williamson, of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by his mother, Lori Peters; Grandfather, Charles Peters and brother, Jamie Lee Gozy.
Steven was a member of the Carpenters and Boiler Makers Union.
Funeral services will be held, 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Harry Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
