Darlene Allen, 74, of Chillicothe has gone home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at her home.
She was born December 21, 1951 in Ross County to the late Merl Curtis and Lorene Barker Jarrell. On June 5, 1995 she married Walter Frank Allen who preceded her June 18, 2006.
Surviving are son, Anthony Arledge, of Chillicothe; granddaughter, Gracie Gardner; son-in-law, Shaun Boler, of Chillicothe; sisters, Carleen Jarrell, of Frankfort and Bonnie Buskirk, of Chillicothe; brother, Don (Paula) Jarrell, of Kingston; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughter, Tonya Boler; sisters, Alberta Seymour and Leona Jarrell; brothers, Merl, Clinton, Ronnie and Curtis Jarrell.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mike Mollett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. Visitation will be 12 Noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
