SOUTH BLOOMFIELD, Ohio — The Village of South Bloomfield will host its annual HalloweenFest on Oct. 31, bringing a DJ, six bounce houses, a mechanical bull and trick-or-treating to the village’s municipal grounds.
HalloweenFest will run from 3 to 6 p.m., followed by trick-or-treat hours from 6 to 8 p.m., according to a post from the village. The event will be held at 5000 Park Place, the address of the village’s municipal building.
Planned activities include pumpkin decorating, a photo booth, giant Jenga, a coloring contest, giant Connect Four and a double basketball game, along with food trucks on site for purchase, the village said.
The celebration follows “Movies in the Park: Halloween Edition” on Oct. 23 at dusk, when the village will screen “The Nightmare Before Christmas” outdoors.
South Bloomfield has been among the fastest-growing villages in central Ohio in recent years, with its population climbing well beyond the 2,143 residents counted in the 2020 census as new residential development has moved into the Pickaway County community.
