WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Dave Taylor’s office has responded to more than 100,000 constituent emails, letters and phone calls since he was sworn into Congress, his office announced Thursday.
Taylor, a Republican, was sworn in to represent Ohio’s 2nd Congressional District on Jan. 3, 2025. The district includes Ross, Scioto, Pike, Highland, Vinton and Pickaway counties, part of Fayette County, and Clermont, Clinton, Adams, Brown, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Gallia and Meigs counties.
“It is my greatest honor to serve Buckeye families, and I’m committed to ensuring every constituent knows their voice is heard,” Taylor said in a statement. “Since day one, my team has worked to provide Ohioans with assistance and information, and I’m grateful to each person who has taken the time to contact my office. Surpassing 100,000 responses to constituents ultimately reflects the many questions, concerns, and ideas shared with us by hardworking Ohioans. The office said it assists constituents with casework related to IRS issues, VA claims, Medicare issues, passports and other federal matters. Contact information and additional details on constituent services are available at taylor.house.gov, according to the release.
Before being elected to Congress, Taylor worked as an assistant prosecutor in Clermont County and later served as president of his family’s concrete business, the release said.
