CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Twin Township Fire Department’s first car, truck and motorcycle show drew about 45 entries Saturday, a turnout organizers called a success for a debut fundraiser.

The all-volunteer department hosted the show at Cornerstone Church, 18654 U.S. 50. In a Facebook post after the event, the department said it “couldn’t be happier with the outcome,” pointing to the entries on display along with food and company at the show.

The department credited its sponsors for helping make the inaugural show possible, saying in the post, “we couldn’t do it without all of our sponsors.” Ahead of the show, organizers had arranged dash plaques and trophies for entrants and planned to order event T-shirts, according to the department’s earlier announcement. Vehicle entry cost $15, with free admission for spectators.
