Jeanne Ann Alexander, age 61 of Blanchester, formerly of the Hillsboro area, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday evening September 16, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born April 2, 1965 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late Samuel and Jo (Priddy) Andrew. Jeanne served as a police officer with the City of Hillsboro Police Department for eighteen years, and most recently was a dispatcher for the Greenfield Police Department. She loved spending time with her family and was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by three children, Steven (Brittany) Alexander of Lynchburg, Kevin (Ashley Lindsey) Alexander of Hillsboro, and Kristina (Mike) Arney of Blanchester; eleven grandchildren, Colton, Zander, Maverick, Colton, Gracie, Charlotte, Noah, Belle, Makia, Zane, and Ryker; a special brother, Jay Hirn of Goshen; as well as numerous friends that became family to Jeanne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Steven Alexander. A celebration of Jeanne’s life will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at the Greenfield Ohio VFW Ranch, 12919-12901 Watt Road, Greenfield, Ohio.
