Edward John “Eddie” Kellermann, age 67, of Hillsboro, formerly of Lynchburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 18, 2026, at his home. He was born the son of the late Stanley and Rita (Carpenter) Kellermann on November 30, 1958 in Cincinnati. Eddie was a simple man who found joy in the things he loved most. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and appreciated spending time outdoors. Eddie was a talented woodworker who took pride in working with his hands and creating things. He was also known for his hunting and fishing stories, but the stories could only be completed if Eddie could talk with his hands, always expressing just how big the fish was. Eddie will be remembered for his simple nature, his talents, and the memories he shared with those who knew and loved him. Eddie is survived by his siblings, Mike (Marsha) Kellermann of Leesburg, David (Genny) Kellermann of Georgetown, Thomas Kellermann of Blanchester, Joyce Gray of Blanchester, Sylvia (Dwayne) Cartwright of Williamsburg, and Gloria (Bud) Penwell of Lynchburg; brother-in-law, Tim Smith of New Vienna; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Patty Smith and brother-in-law, Jody Gray. Eddie will be cremated and laid to rest at Troutwine Cemetery. Davis-Turner Funeral Home is serving the family.
