Jo Ann Frisby, 64, of Waverly, Ohio, passed Monday, September 28, 2026, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio.
Jo Ann was born October 19, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward O. Allen and Anna Mae (Cook) Allen. On January 6, 1979, she was united in marriage Robert Lynn Frisby, who preceded her in death August 13, 2001.
She is survived by two children, Adam Frisby and Bobby Jo Frisby; three grandchildren, Blake Towe, Lee Schaeffer, and Maysen Sewall; sister, Amanda Manbevers; several nieces and nephews including Betty Ann Carter, Eddie Frisby, Tori Mustard, and Ricky Cook; special person, Michael Schoolcraft; special friend, Linda Cook; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her grandparents, and her niece, Kelly Cook.
Jo Ann was a nurse’s aide at Pineview Manor Nursing Home and previously worked at Piketon Nursing Center in laundry. She enjoyed bingo, sewing, and a coffee from McDonalds. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life.
Visitation will not be observed. Arrangements are under the care of Boyer Cremation Services.
