Lois Eileen Queen, 87 of Ashville, OH passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. She was born on October 5, 1939, in Wayne County, WV. Lois’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her great grandsons. For many years, she loved watching her son and grandson race go-karts. She also loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and watching sports; especially college and pro football.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon “Bud” Queen; parents Eph and Flausie (Adkins) Asbury, Sr.; brothers Wilmer, Ervin, Bob and Harv; sisters Helen and Dot.

Survivors include her son Rickey (Jane) Queen; grandson Austin Jay (Darian) Queen; great grandsons Layton Jay Queen and Lane Charles Queen; great granddaughter Ellie Grace; sisters-in-law Phyllis Queen, Sally Wilks and Betty Queen; special nieces and caregivers Stacey Bryant, Jessie Asbury, Claudia Pyper; special friends Rex (Donna) Pierce, Billy (Denise) Dowell, and Jodi Myers; many additional nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville 43103. Interment will follow at Beckett Cemetery in Commercial Point.
