Ronald “Ronnie” Kenneth Harrison, 87, of Circleville, passed away at home on October 13, 2026, with his loving wife, Maxine, by his side.
Ronnie was born on November 11, 1938, to Orville Harrison and Mary (Earl) McKitrick McCown. He called Circleville home for all 87 years of his life. He retired from Porter’s Laundry and Dry Cleaning after more than 60 years of service.
Ronnie had a green thumb and took great pride in maintaining his immaculate yard. He enjoyed baking, especially during the holidays; sharing handyman tips with his son-in-law; traveling; and reading, particularly Western novels. His family meant everything to him, and he was always there whenever they needed him.
He was a loving and devoted husband to Maxine, his wife of 67 years; a cherished father; and the very best grandpa to his four grandsons, who were his pride and joy.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister, Joy Brown; his brother, Sonny Harrison; and his infant sister, Shirley.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Maxine; his daughter, Tara (Chris) Stant; his grandsons, Zane, Cade, Rider, and Drew Stant; and his nieces, nephews, other family members, friends, and very special neighbors.
A private graveside service and burial will be held at Heavenly Hills Cemetery.
To honor Ronnie, the family suggests donations to the Pickaway County Library or a local charity of choice. The family would also like to thank Capital City Hospice for the love and care they provided to Ronnie and his family in his final days.
Full service details and the family guest book are available at Wellman Funeral Home-Circleville.
