Sharon S. (Kellough) Lytle, passed at 11:56 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, following an extended illness.

She was born November 5, 1948 in Chillicothe to the late Irvin and Edith (Chaney) Kellough. On January 25, 1971 she married Chester (Bud) Lytle Sr. who preceded her in death on January 27, 1997.

Surviving are children, Rodney (Rhonda) Jones, Paula Jones (Will Pendergraft), Tina (Phil) Park, Trina (Shane) Throckmorton, Bud (Jodi) Lytle all of Chillicothe and Chad (Sarah) Lytle of Grove City, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandson, all of whom she loved dearly. Also surviving are sisters, Brenda Donohoe, Flora Broughton, and Linda (Bill) McDonald; brothers, Gary and Ronnie (Bonnie) Kellough; a sister-in-law Patricia Kellough; and a brother-in-law, Pete Davidson.

She was preceded in death by grandson, Coleton Lytle; a very special son-in-law, Gary Brent Payne; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie (Pude) Elliott, Margaret (Bob) Minney, and Patty (Gene) Uhrig; a sister, Mable Davidson; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenny (Glenda) Kellough; and brothers George, Robert “Popeye” and Larry “Bimbo” Kellough; as well as 2 very special sisters-in-law, Geri Kellough and Bonnie Schmidt.

Mom was a very special person and a very unique personality whom we all loved dearly and will miss greatly. She enjoyed camping, especially at the Ross County Fair, where she never missed a fair for more than 40 years. Her niece, Tara (Alan) Bray was her camping buddy at the campgrounds where she enjoyed spending most weekends.

She was a lifelong member of Camelin Hill Church and we all have such fond memories of mom and dad “dragging” us to church as kids.

Words cannot express our gratitude for Kasey and Ashley who were mom’s caregivers. They are truly heroes for the care they gave our mom. We would also like to thank National Church Residence Hospice for the care that was given to our mom. We would especially like to thank Rebecca for her very special care and compassion she showed our mom. They were all truly amazing.

“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto Himself” Phillipians 3:20-21
