Virginia Conolee Williams, 86, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away on October 15, 2026, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Virginia was born on April 7, 1940, in Louisa, Kentucky, to the late Bennett and Daisy (Lockwood) Salmons. She was a devoted member of Paul's Chapel United Baptist Church in Beaver, Ohio, where her faith and love for her church held a special place in her heart. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Wheelersburg.
Virginia found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially quilting and sewing. Through her talents, she created beautiful pieces that reflected her patience, care, and creativity. Her faith and family were among her greatest treasures, and she also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Gigi, whom she adored. Gigi brought her companionship and happiness, adding another special kind of love to her life.
Virginia is survived by her loving daughters, Christine Williams, and Cherry Clevenger; and her special niece, Karen Morrison. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jamie Clevenger, Aaron Parker, Keith Clevenger, and Bobbie Lynn Clevenger Thompson; and two great-grandchildren, Kyndal and Kyleigh Thompson, along with innumerable nieces and nephews who adored her, which will carry her memory forward for generations to come.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Bill, James, Wayne, and Randolph Salmons; her sisters, Elizabeth Adkins, Fannie Davis, Edith Wilkinson, and Veva Salmons; and her beloved grandchild, Nathan Robert Clevenger.
Though her family and friends will deeply miss her, they can find comfort in the love she shared, the traditions she cherished, and the memories that will remain in their hearts. Her faith now carries her into eternal peace, where she will be forever loved and never forgotten.
