Donald K. Proctor, 80, of Chillicothe passed 10:48 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2026 at his home.
He was born April 7, 1946 in Chillicothe, OH to the late Kenneth M. and Kathryn V. (Dennewitz) Proctor. On July 20, 1970 he married the former Lexie Mae Bartram who preceded him in death on January 20, 2024.
Surviving are sons, Donald K. “Deke” Proctor, II and Jason R. Proctor, both of Chillicothe; a grandson, Jacob Daniel Proctor, of Grand Ledge, MI; a sister-in-law, Ruhama Proctor, of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by a brother, James L. Proctor and a nephew, James Andrew Proctor.
Donald retired as the Librarian at Huntington High School. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Ohio University.

A Celebration of Life and burial in Grandview Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of WARE FUNERAL HOME.
