Timothy M. Colburn, 52, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 23, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 8, 1974, in Ross County, a son of the late Timmy Joe and Cindy Hines Colburn. On April 13, 2013, he married the former Megan Maynard, and she survives.
He is also survived by his four children, Christian (Abigail) Colburn, Maria (Jason) Mathews, Trent Colburn, and Dani Colburn, numerous grandchildren, and one brother, Christian (Tracie) Colburn. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Kimberly Smith.
Tim was a 1992 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He had worked several years as general manager for multiple McDonald's restaurants. He was a fan of The Ohio State University football, Brown's football, Red's baseball. He also coached little league baseball for several years. Tim was fortunate enough to be able to coach both of his sons. He also enjoyed fishing and supporting the Southeastern Panther's High School Marching Band.
A funeral service for Tim will be held at 1 PM, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort, with his father-in-law, Pastor Wayne Conley, officiating. Following the funeral, Tim will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Family and friends may visit with Tim's family on Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of the service. All who attend Tim's service are asked to wear OSU apparel and a meal will be provided after the service at Vanguard Ministries, 13806 St Rt 220, Piketon, OH 45661.
