HILLSBORO, Ohio — Crews from Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District responded Friday afternoon to a structure fire in the 400 block of North East Street, the district said in a social media post.
The district asked residents to avoid the area while crews worked the scene. No information on injuries, the extent of damage or a cause had been released as of Friday afternoon.
Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District covers Hillsboro and surrounding areas of Highland County, operating out of multiple stations including Station 22 on U.S. 50 and Station 23 on North East Street. The district, led by Chief Bradley George, provides both fire suppression and emergency medical response for the area.
