The phone lines at the Ross County Health District are down.
Representatives with the health department said that an overnight storm Tuesday night caused the phone lines to go down after a presumed lightning strike.
The main line, (740) 779-9652 and all other lines are down.
Horizon has technicians at the scene attempting to get an emergency backup line restored so calls can be accepted and placed outbound.
Horizon could not give an estimated restoration time and the health department does not have a backup line at this time.
