NORMAN, Oklahoma — The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has placed a large portion of the region under an enhanced risk of severe weather overnight tonight through Thursday afternoon. According to forecasters, multiple rounds of showers and storms will be pushing through the area.
While high winds are the primary threat with these storms, meteorologists warn that a tornado or two cannot be ruled out. In preparation for the severe weather, residents are being encouraged to have multiple means to receive weather alerts.
