SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman announced the arrest of two men in connection to a stolen vehicle.
The incident occurred today, March 16, when deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 104 and McDermott Pond Creek Road. The vehicle was pulled over for fictitious plates, and upon checking the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), deputies discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Clinton County.
The driver, Marion Stiers, 43, from Lucasville, Ohio, was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property, a felony of the 4th degree, while the passenger, Nicholas R. Breech, 42, from Otway, Ohio, was charged with the same crime. Breech also had an Adult Parole Warrant for his arrest.
The case, officials said, will be presented to a Grand Jury after being forwarded to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office.
