PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — Rescue crews in Pike County were dispatched to an unusual accident on Saturday night when a truck crashed into a pond.
According to a social media post by the Piketon Seal Township Fire Department, the incident occurred in the 7000 block of Route 124. Crews responded to the scene just before 10:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found that all occupants had managed to escape the submerged vehicle. Firefighters waded out to the truck and assisted in its removal from the pond.
No further details have been released at this time. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
