LOGAN, Ohio — A Logan man, Steve, recently struck it big, winning $1,000,000 on an Ohio Lottery Merry Money scratch-off ticket. Steve purchased his winning ticket at Tee Jay’s Drive Thru & Deli, located at 511 E Front St in Logan.
Opting for the cash payout, Steve will receive $500,000. After federal and state tax withholdings, which amount to 28 percent, he will take home approximately $360,000.
The Ohio Lottery’s Merry Money scratch-off game still has three top prizes remaining, along with several other prizes, as of October 21.
