WILMINGTON, Ohio — If you thought Sunday’s snowfall was the last of it, well, welcome to Ohio. Where one day you’re digging out your driveway, and the next, you’re wondering if you should be preparing for a tornado, an ice storm, or maybe just a surprise 50-degree day. Unfortunately, that last one isn’t in the cards this week.
The region is in for another round of cold and potentially more snow starting late Tuesday night into Wednesday, though nothing quite as substantial as the last storm.

Here’s what to expect:
• Today: Mostly sunny with a high near 22, but don’t let that fool you—wind chill values could make it feel as cold as zero.
• Tonight: Mostly cloudy, low around 9, with wind chills hovering near zero.
• Tuesday: Highs won’t get past 19, with a wind chill potentially dipping below zero.
• Tuesday Night: A 50% chance of snow, mainly after midnight, with less than half an inch expected.
• Wednesday: Another chance of snow in the morning, with accumulation staying under an inch. Highs near 20.
• Wednesday Night: More snow showers possible, with temperatures dropping to around 10 degrees.
While the forecast doesn’t call for another major storm, the cold isn’t letting up anytime soon. Wind chills could drop between -5 and -10 degrees in northern areas, and a persistent Arctic air mass will keep temperatures well below normal through the weekend.
The next round of snow looks to stay south of the region, but slight shifts in the forecast could bring higher totals to southern counties, possibly in the 1–3 inch range by Wednesday. Another system moving in Wednesday night could also bring scattered snow showers before high pressure settles in for the weekend.
The bottom line—winter isn’t done with us yet. Keep the extra layers handy, watch for slick roads, and brace for more chilly days ahead.
