SENECA COUNTY, Ohio— The Easyriders Rodeo has found a new Ohio home.

According to event organizers, the 2022 Rodeo will be held in Bloomville, Ohio.

The long-standing event, whose former home for over 30 years in Ross County, ended after Ross County Sheriff George Lavender said his deputies were in the cross-hairs of a potential biker war.

The biker rodeo brought hundreds of tourists to the Ross County area every year.

The Guardian broke the story in November after speaking with Agriculture Society President Brad Cosenza following a meeting with the command staff of the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.

Cosenza said at the time, “Ross County Sheriff George Lavender and members of his command staff addressed the board and provided a video of drone footage of this year’s rodeo. During the Sheriff’s comments, he described a situation that took place this year during the event that he felt put the lives of his deputies and possibly the community at large in a life-threatening situation.”

This year’s event will be held at Cole Farms in Seneca County at 4565 route 19 in Bloomville.
