FRANKFORT, Ohio — A school bus carrying students from a local school was involved in a crash Monday afternoon.
It happened at around 4 p.m. in the 300 block of Owl Creek Road, when the bus carrying five students crashed with a truck. The bus belonged to Paint Valley Local Schools.
There were no serious injuries, however, an adult involved in the crash was suffering from arm pain. Under Ohio law, all underaged students involved in a school bus crash must be transported to the hospital unless their parents arrived at the scene and signed a waiver; it was not immediately released if Concord Township followed protocol.
Owl Creek Road remained closed as crews work the scene.
EDITOR’S NOTE: A previous version of this article misidentified the district where the bus belonged.
