WAVERLY, Ohio — One person was flown to a trauma hospital after a two-vehicle crash outside of Waverly.
It happened Thursday at around 4 p.m. on route 23 in front of the Pike County Sheriff’s Office. Troopers told the Guardian that two vehicles were involved, and that one person was flown from the scene in serious condition.
Route 23 was closed as the medical helicopter landed.
The events leading up to the crash and the names of those involved have not been released.
