ATHENS, Ohio —– Deputies in Athens County had to chase down a wanted man over the weekend.  

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were on patrol around The Plains when they noticed a suspicious vehicle leave a residence of a man wanted on outstanding felony warrants. Reports say that when deputies approached the vehicle, a male occupant fled on foot. 

Deputies chased down the man, later identified as Thomas Reasoner. Eventually the foot pursuit ended with Reasoner being placed in handcuffs. He was arrested and transported to the Southeastern Regional Jail on his outstanding warrants as well as new charges of resisting arrest and obstructing official business. 

The driver of the vehicle, Jennifer Finley, was also arrested at the scene for obstruction.
