PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio Highway Patrol, along with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office and Waverly Police Department, announced that an OVI (Operating a Vehicle Impaired) checkpoint will be held tonight on US-23 in Pike County from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M.
The checkpoint is part of efforts to prevent and intercept impaired drivers. Along with the checkpoint, nearby saturation patrols will target drivers who may pose a risk of injury or fatal crashes due to impairment.
