On November 29, 2025, at approximately 12:35 PM, officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of US-23 in Chillicothe due to a motor vehicle crash. A vehicle traveling northbound caught fire, causing heavy smoke and very low visibility, leading to a crash involving three vehicles. Several individuals were injured and hospitalized.
Breaking and Entering on Sullivan Rd

On November 29, 2025, a phone report was received by Sgt Riege regarding the theft of a registration plate from a vehicle on the 15000 block of SR 772 in Chillicothe. The complainant had purchased a truck without transferring the title, and the seller is currently in the Ross County Jail. An investigation has commenced.

Deputy Nott took a phone report on November 29, 2025, concerning a threats complaint on Camelin Hill Rd in Chillicothe. The incident is believed to be a scam call with no serious threats identified.
